What is a roto-molded cooler anyways and what is so great about them?

Roto-molded coolers are manufactured using a very specific rotational mold process wherein we utilize high end molded plastic (Polyethylene) that creates a continuous and thick cooler wall.  This roto-molding process, combined with our extra thick and uninterrupted layers of insulation, ensures that Blue Coolers will keep your ice, drinks, food and whatever else, cold and fresh for the maximum amount of time.  Moreover, you will not find a more durable, bear-proof cooler on the market.

Why are Blue Coolers so affordable compared to the leading brands?

We are a growing primarily direct to consumer company with minimal overhead and no expensive marketing campaigns or celebrity endorsements.  As a result, we are able to sell our high quality 10-day ice coolers at an affordable price to our consumers.

Will I be sacrificing on quality if I choose to order a Blue Cooler over the leading brands?

No, Blue Coolers perform equally or better than the leading roto-molded cooler companies on the market.  For evidence, just view our array of test videos on our website, Facebook page or YouTube.

What company do you use for shipping?

We use FedEx and occasionally Canada Post. 

Where will my order ship from and how long will it take to arrive?

We ship all orders from our warehouses in Calgary, AB.  We commit to processing and shipping your cooler within 48 business hours of you placing your order.  Depending on where you live in the country, you can expect to receive your order within approximately 2-8 days from the date that you place your order. 

Do all my products come in the one package?

If possible, we ship all units in one package.  If the number of items exceeds our box sizes, multiple boxes will be used and shipped.

How can I check the status and tracking of my order?

You will receive an order confirmation email when you place your order. Once the order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your order tracking information. Please use this number and contact the carrier directly for shipping details - once the package is shipped, only the carrier can provide information on the delivery. Please note, even though your order may ship with 24-48 hours after your order, it sometimes can take another 24 hours for FedEx and/or other shippers to provide a live tracking number.

Do you charge for shipping?

We fulfill your order within 48 hours of receipt. Once your order leaves the warehouse it is the responsibility of our shipping partner. We do not have control over delivery times but our partners usually do a fantastic job of getting deliveries to our customers in a timely manner. To track your order, please use the tracking number provided in the shipping email from us.

We offer free shipping on all online orders over $199.00 (before taxes, with some exceptions). We love our customers living out on the edge and we will continue to provide free shipping to Northwest Territories, Yukon, Nunavut, and Newfoundland & Labrador, within reason. If shipping charges are greater than 15% of the product total we will contact you to find a solution.  

When will I get my tracking number?

Typically, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email a few days after your initial order date.  Even though your order may ship one day after your order it sometimes can take another 24 hours for FedEx and/or other shippers to provide us with a live tracking number so that we can update our system and send you the shipping confirmation email with your tracking number.

How do I order an item as a gift and have it sent to their address?

If you would like to only send an item to someone as a gift, just order, using THEIR customer and shipping info on the checkout page.
