I’ve used the Blue Cooler on a beach trip and overall, it performs well in terms of insulation and capacity. However, there are two main areas where it could be improved:
1. Wheels: Given the size and weight of the cooler when full, the current wheels are too small and narrow to handle sand efficiently. They tend to dig into the sand and collect it underneath, almost like a snow shovel. Larger, wider wheels would make a big difference, especially for beach use.
2. Lid Design: For a cooler of this size, it would be much more efficient if the lid worked independently on both sides—similar to the ICECO portable fridges. That way, you can access drinks or one section without opening the entire cooler and losing cold air.
With these upgrades, this cooler would be near perfect!
Its great survived being on my roof for 400 miles and still kept cool.
So far I'm in love with this cooler!! Such a tight seal you have to use the pressure release just to open it!! Love it!!
So far I’m happy with it, had ice pack and food in it for 3 day trip and the ice pack was 98% still frozen.
